BIOGRAPHY

Born 17. june 1961 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The family moved to Norway in 1965.
Lived and studied in France from 1982 to 1993.
Lives and works in Asker, Norway.
Married to Kjersti Unger, two children.

EDUCATION

1983 – 85: Academie de Port-Royal, Paris, France.
1985 – 87: Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts, Paris, France.
1994 – 95 : Statens Håndverk- og Kunstindustriskole, Institutt for radér (Independent student), Oslo, Norway.
2009: Master degree in Art History at the University of Bergen, Norway.


EXHIBITIONS

Group exhibitions (a selection)

• 1982 – 1993: Participates at all the major french group exhibitios, Salon d´Automne, Dessin et Peinture a l´eau, etc, as well as a number of other group exhibitions throughout France and a travelling exhibition around the USA.
• Several exhibitions with the french artist group "Groupe 109".
• 1991 – 1993: Leader of the french artist group ”Indigo” which among other things also was running an cultural exchange program with the Czech artist group ”Art-i-um" which resulted in several joint exhibitions both in France and in the Czech republic.
• Participated at the organzing of, and/or participated at numerous group exhibitions in Norway, France, Spain and Sweden.
• 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 og 2022: Kunst Rett Vest
• Exhibited in goup watercolourshows in Spain, France an Sweden as well as Norway.
• Exhibition in China in october 2016 at the Jiu Jiang Art Museum together with two other norwegian artist and several chinese artists.
